The three day Mor Sabor Afroth study camp organised by Sunday School Kollam diocese started at St Peters Jacobite Syrian Cathedral on 05th Oct, 2011. Inaugural blessing and lighting of the lamp was done by HG Mor Theodosius Mathews, Metropolitan of Kollam Diocese. Flag hoisting was done by Rev. Fr. Geevarghese Blaheth,Vice President Sunday School Kollam Diocese.
The formal inauguration meeting was presided by Rev. Fr. Anish T Varghese and welcomed by Rev. Fr. Sabu Samuel. Rev. Fr. Geevarghese Blaheth, Prof. Dr. Jose D. Kaipallil, Secretary MJSSA, Mr. George A Zachariah, Trustee St Peters JSS Church and Mr. Kuruvila George, MJSSA Central Committee Member felicitated the gathering.
Mor Sabor Afroth camp is a unique event in MJSSA. This is the fifth consecutive year that the camp is being conducted under the able leadership of Rev. Fr. Sabu Samuel who is the Director of Kollam MJSSA. Two parallel sessions are conducted for the students and the sunday school teachers. This years camp theme is Acts 17:28 "For in Him, we live, we move and we exist." The camp will conclude on 07th Oct, 2011
